A minimal-data framework for public research, update notifications, correction submissions, external payments, and privacy-conscious analytics.

The site is designed to collect only information needed to operate public research and reader-requested services. Newsletter forms may collect an email address, delivery frequency, topic preferences, company preferences, consent status, and submission metadata. Correction and contact forms may collect a name, email address, page reference, category, description, source link, suggested correction, and optional public credit preference.
The hosting and security infrastructure may process limited technical information such as an IP address, user agent, request path, timestamp, and diagnostic data in ordinary server and security logs. External payment, spreadsheet, email-delivery, webhook, and analytics providers process information under their own terms when those services are used.
Form submissions are forwarded from server-side route handlers to the private storage endpoint configured by the project. They are not intentionally written to the public repository or exposed in client-side environment variables.
Service providers receive only the information reasonably required for the function they perform. Personal information is not sold, rented, or used for behavioral advertising or user-level financial profiling.
Subscriber records are retained while a subscription remains active and for a limited period afterward when needed to preserve unsubscribe or suppression status. Correction, source, and contact submissions may be retained while they are reviewed and for an appropriate recordkeeping period. Hosting and security logs follow the retention settings of the relevant provider.
A person may request access, correction, or deletion of personal information, subject to identity verification and any legal, security, recordkeeping, or suppression-list reason that requires limited retention.
External payment providers process payment credentials under their own privacy terms. This site is not designed to receive or store full payment-card details.
Invasive advertising technology is not used. Privacy-conscious aggregate analytics may be enabled to measure page views and limited events such as model opens, source opens, support-page visits, correction submissions, and newsletter signups. The cookie policy identifies the current browser-storage practices.
Privacy and data-access requests may be sent to ephesusresearch@gmail.com or submitted through the Report an error form in the site footer by selecting “Privacy request.”
